Our first Mardi Gras Parade starts this Saturday in Dauphin Island, Krewe de la Dauphine. At 1:00 p.m. the fun starts, and you can catch beads, moon pies, toys, candy and more beads!
Did you know in 1703 Mobile is known as the first Mardi Gras celebration which started by the French. The Mardi Gras (French for ‘Fat Tuesday’) Holiday celebration ends on Fat Tuesday, February 25, 2020 this year.
On Mardi Gras Day, Fat Tuesday, many of the stores and banks are closed so we can all go and enjoy the spectacular floats and listen to great music along the parade routes while catching colorful beads, candy, toys and my favorite…Moon Pies.
